SAN FRANCISCO - November 13, 2025 - The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) celebrated an announcement from LOT Polish Airlines detailing plans to launch new nonstop seasonal service to Warsaw beginning May 6, 2026. LOT intends to operate four flights per week using Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
"We are thrilled to welcome LOT Polish Airlines to SFO," said Airport Director Mike Nakornkhet. "This represents the culmination of more than eight years of dedicated work by our Aviation Marketing & Development team and fulfils a long-standing demand for nonstop flights to Central Europe. My thanks go out to our team for their perseverance and to LOT Polish Airlines for choosing SFO for their summer 2026 schedule. We are confident this new service will be a success."
