Katy Perry Details Daughter Daisy's Sweet Backstage Tradition

Katy Perry may have a backstage routine on tour but so does her daughter.

While speaking with People ahead of the theatrical release of her concert film Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour - Live from Paris, the "Woman's World" singer, 41, shared how her 6-year-old daughter Daisy Dove fits right in with the rest of the crew while her mom performs for crowds across the globe.

"When she's on the road, she comes out for half the show or a little bit less than half the show. She dances, she does the circle. She's my road dog, and she's moving with me, so she's really gaining this adaptability of being able to be malleable in different environments and situations, so I think that's a value," she said. "She loves the dancers, and she's my co-pilot."

Perry also revealed that Daisy, whom she shares with ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom, even has her own adorable backstage tradition, which even the crew members helped foster throughout the tour.

"She has her own road case that she got made for her by one of the crew, and it has glitter pens, it has stickers, it has everything - and so, she comes backstage, she opens it up, and she crafts, and she's coloring. And she was coloring so much that actually we started framing each picture that she would make," she said, adding, "Every day I'd come into the room, and my girls helped set up backstage. They would frame the previous day's picture, and it was cozy and amazing."

Perry and Bloom went their separate ways in 2025 after more than eight years together. At the time, reps for the pair confirmed their shifting relationship toward co-parenting their daughter.

"They will continue to be seen together as a family," reps said in a statement, "as their shared priority is - and always will be - raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect."
