Union Minister for Coal and Mines, Shri G. Kishan Reddy, will inaugurate the Ministry of Mines Pavilion at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025, being held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, on 14th November 2025.

The Ministry's pavilion will showcase India's rich mineral resources, technological advancements, and contribution towards building a Viksit Bharat - Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.

Spread over 1,500 sq. metres, the pavilion will offer visitors a dynamic and informative experience through thematic exhibits, interactive activities, and displays highlighting the achievements and vision of India's mining and mineral sector.

The pavilion will feature participation from all Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) and attached, subordinate, and autonomous organizations under the Ministry, including National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL), Geological Survey of India (GSI), Mineral Exploration and Consultancy Limited (MECL), Jawaharlal Nehru Aluminium Research Development and Design Centre (JNARDDC), and the National Institute of Rock Mechanics (NIRM).

A special thematic zone will focus on the National Critical Mineral Mission (NCMM)-an important initiative under the Ministry of Mines aimed at strengthening India's critical mineral ecosystem. This section, curated by the Ministry, will feature the Non-Ferrous Technology Development Centre (NFTDC), showcasing key achievements and technological innovations supporting the exploration, processing, and utilization of critical and strategic minerals essential for India's clean energy and industrial growth.

Private sector partners such as Hindalco Industries Limited and Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL) will also showcase their innovations and contributions.

  • Hindalco will feature models of Vande Bharat Express and Chandrayaan-3, symbolizing the role of metals in driving India's progress.
  • HZL will display its achievements in sustainable mining and technological excellence.

Exhibits by District Mineral Foundations (DMFs) and Self-Help Groups (SHGs) will highlight community development initiatives and locally made products supported through mining-sector CSR programmes.

Visitors can look forward to engaging Virtual Reality (VR) and digital mining experiences, interactive quizzes for students and youth, and displays on critical minerals, exploration technologies, and sustainability-driven innovations.

The pavilion reflects the Ministry's commitment to responsible mining, innovation, and inclusive growth, contributing to India's journey towards self-reliance in minerals and Viksit Bharat @2047.
