DGA Statement on Cyndi Munson's Clear Win in the Oklahoma Gubernatorial Debate

DGA spokesperson Kevin Donohoe released the following statement on the Oklahoma gubernatorial debate:

"Tonight's debate made clear why the Oklahoma governor's race has become increasingly competitive. Cyndi Munson powerfully made the case that she is the leader who will fight to make sure every kid can get a great education and every family can get a good-paying job they can afford to live on. In stark contrast, Mike Mazzei failed to defend his long record of corruption, his backing of a foreign-owned aluminum smelter plant near Tulsa, and his extreme positions. The contrast on the stage could not be more stark - between Mazzei, a corrupt politician who embodies the failed status quo, and Cyndi Munson, a fighter for Oklahoma who will put state government back on the side of working families."
