America 250 Drone Show in Central Park

Join the City of Fremont and Fremont Bank for a special America 250th Drone Show following the July 2nd Summer Concert Series in Central Park!

Beginning at approximately 9:00 p.m., more than 350 synchronized drones will illuminate the night sky above Lake Elizabeth with patriotic imagery, dynamic aerial formations, and a special tribute to Fremont in celebration of America's 250th Anniversary. The drone show is expected to last approximately 15 minutes and will conclude prior to Central Park's 10:00 p.m. closing time.

Plan Ahead

Due to anticipated attendance, attendees should expect:

  • Larger-than-usual crowds in and around Central Park
  • Increased traffic and parking demand in surrounding neighborhoods
  • Temporary traffic pattern measures and lane restrictions, particularly affecting Paseo Padre Parkway
  • Increased pedestrian activity before and after the event

Community members are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, arrive early, and consider carpooling, walking, biking, or using rideshare services.

Parking & Transportation

Parking lots closest to the event are expected to fill early and may close once capacity is reached. Vehicles parked illegally will be cited and towed.

For drop-off, pick-up, and rideshare services, the recommended location is 1740 Stevenson Blvd. near the Dog Park and Basketball Courts. The dog park will be closed on July 2, 2026 at 5:00 pm.

Attendees are encouraged to remain aware of their surroundings and use designated crosswalks when traveling to and from the event.

Personal drones and fireworks are prohibited within and around the event area. Lost & Found and First Aid services will be available at the City of Fremont Booth during the event.
