TRAFFIC ALERT - New Castle County - I-95 / SR 896 Interchange - Upcoming Closures

The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) alerts motorists that there will be overnight lane closures on northbound I-95 from south of the Maryland State line to the toll plaza for milling and paving. There will be overnight lane closures on southbound I-95 from the toll plaza to the Maryland line for pavement markings. There will be daytime lane closures on the southbound I-95 off ramp to southbound SR 896 for barrier work. There will be daytime lane shift on northbound SR 896 for paving.

I-95 Northbound from South of Toll Plaza to Welsh Tract Overpass - overnight double lane closures for milling and paving
· November 8 from 8:00 PM to November 9 at 6:00 AM - single lane 8:00 PM, double lane 9:00 PM, high-speed E-ZPass lanes closed
· November 10 at 7:00 PM to November 11 at 6:00 AM - single lane 7:00 PM, double lane 8:00 PM, high- speed E-ZPass lanes closed
· November 11 at 7:00 PM to November 12 at 6:00 AM - single lane 7:00 PM, double lane 8:00 PM, cash lanes closed
· November 12 from 8:00 PM to November 13 at 6:00 AM - single lane 8:00 PM, double lane 9:00 PM, cash lanes closed

I-95 Southbound from Toll Plaza to MD Line - overnight double left lane closure for raised pavement marker install
· November 11 from 9:00 PM to November 12 at 5:00 AM - single lane 8:00 PM, double lane 9:00 PM

I-95 Southbound off ramp to Southbound SR 896 - daytime lane closure for barrier sealing.
· November 11 from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
· November 12 from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM

I-95 Northbound from Maryland Route 316 to south of Toll Plaza - overnight double lane closures for milling and paving October 26 from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
· November 9 from 8:00 PM to November 10 at 5:00 AM - single lane 8:00 PM, double lane 9:00 PM, high-speed E-ZPass lanes closed

I-95 Northbound from Toll Plaza to Service Plaza - overnight mobile lane and shoulder closures for striping
· October 27 from 6:00 PM to October 27 at 7:00 AM
· October 28 from 7:00 PM to October 29 at 7:00 AM

I-95 Northbound from Toll Plaza to Service Plaza - overnight double lane closures for striping
· October 28 from 6:00 PM to October 29 at 7:00 AM - single lane starting at 6:00 PM, double lane starting at 10:00 PM
· October 29 from 6:00 PM to October 30 at 6:00 AM - single lane from 6:00 PM - 7:00 AM, double lane from 11:00PM - 6:00 AM

I-95 Southbound from SR 896 Interchange to Maryland Line - overnight double lane closures for milling and paving, hi speed EZ-Pass lanes will be closed
· October 27 from 7:00 PM to October 28 at 7:00 AM - double lane starting at 7:00 PM
· October 28 from 7:00 PM to October 29 at 7:00 AM - single lane starting at 7:00 PM, double lane starting at 8:00 PM
· October 29 from 7:00 PM to October 30 7:00 AM - single lane 7:00 PM, double lane 8:00 PM

Route 896 Northbound from Old Baltimore Pike to I-95 Overpass - daytime lane shift for paving
· November 11 from 8:00 AM to November 11 at 3:00 PM
