Mark Summers, 58, of Cambridge was placed under arrest on charges related to possessing a stolen motor vehicle and operating a vehicle while unlicensed. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle near Central Sq., Summers then fled on foot and when stopped, he actively resisted arrest and became assaultive toward officers.

Police responded to the 900 block of Mass Ave for a larceny report. Victim stated that they were sleeping when they heard someone going through their belongings. The suspect then rode off on a bike with some of the victims property.
