15th Annual Tallahassee Science Festival Set to Bring Hands-On STEM Fun to the Community

October 28, 2026

Tallahassee State College (TSC) will host the 15th Annual Tallahassee Science Festival (TSF) on Saturday, November 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to celebrate the fun and innovation of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

For the first time in the festival's history, the event will take place on TSC's campus.

The free, family-friendly festival will offer interactive exhibits, demonstrations, and close-up encounters with robots, drones, telescopes, marine life, and more. With the new festival venue, attendees can also look forward to touring TSC's Innovation Hub, a state-of-the-art educational makerspace, and free parking.

TSF will showcase the work of universities, schools, and community organizations across the Big Bend region, including TSC, Florida A&M University, Florida State University, Keiser University, Tallahassee Collegiate Academy, and the University of Florida.

"The festival gives people of all ages the opportunity to experience science firsthand," said Dr. Anthony Jones, the TSF Director and Dean of Library Services and Learning Commons. "By bringing together many exhibitors, we're connecting our community with the people, discoveries, and technologies that are shaping the future while also inspiring the next generation of innovators."

This event is made possible thanks to its co-presenting sponsor, Trulight LLC, and the support of its community sponsors, which include the TSC Foundation (Titanium Sponsor), Best Day Ever Events and Rentals (Gold Sponsor), Keiser University (Silver Sponsor), Challenger Learning Center (Bronze Sponsor), Wen Zhu Laboratory at FSU (Friends of TSF), and Clothesline (Friends of TSF).

Founded in 2012 by Elaine and Bill Grace, the Tallahassee Science Festival is a member of the Science Festival Alliance. The beloved event has inspired curiosity and showcased the world of STEM to the community for the past 14 years.
