City Colleges of Chicago reports another successful Chicago Apprentice Network event

Pictured are four City Colleges of Chicago students each in an apprenticeship. Joshua (top of photo) wants to be a cyber tech analyst and shared that he appreciated meeting everyone in the room.
As a proud member of the Chicago Apprentice Network (CAN), City Colleges of Chicago connects students with "earn-and-learn" programs that pair paid work experience with classroom education, including those in high tech and other STEM-based careers. Through its partnerships, City Colleges is bridging the gap between higher education and high-demand careers and through these apprenticeships, students build valuable credentials and can find a direct path to employment. This collective effort drives local economic inclusion and fuels innovation in Chicago and throughout Illinois, ensuring that our students can thrive.
We thank CAN and McDonald's Corporation for hosting the recent CAN event at their Headquarters.
