No Instagram post, no iPhone shot, no perfectly polished campus photo can fully do our beautiful, suburban campus justice. They give you a glimpse, but really, you just have to visit.

You have to smell the fresh-cut grass, grab a smoothie from Casey's and walk the paths where Siena's campus meets the peaceful streets of Loudonville. You have to find your favorite study spot, picture yourself between classes and kick back by the fire pits.

And when you do, be sure to scope out these spots below: a few of our students' favorite places to study, unwind and feel at home.

THE GROTTO

"The grotto is a super peaceful place to sit and clear your mind. It's a great place to light a candle, enjoy the weather, and look at the scenery. " - Maria Machado '27

"Time does truly stop when you're at the grotto. It's a great place whether you're going to mass there, passing through on a walk, or just stopping to relax and clear your mind" - Nev Bergen '27

CASEY'S

"Casey's is the place to do homework, hang out, or stop and have a quick meal with friends. You're always guaranteed to see a friendly face there!" - Marni Alhart '28

"Casey's always has something to do whether it's going to karaoke, getting the free Saints day stuff on Wednesdays, or grabbing a late night snack. You will never be bored there!" - McKenna Fitzgerald '26

THE QUAD

"The quad is so fun, especially when it's nice out. It's a great place to play games, relax and read, … and it's the best spot to tan on campus!" - Nicolette Carney '25

THE PLANT ROOM

The Pat Brown Room, also known as the "Plant Room," is located in Morrell Science Center.

"The plant room is THE study spot on campus. It's super spacious and bright and it's so peaceful to study with all the greenery!" - Aiden Holden '27
