On behalf of the United States of America, I congratulate the people of Fiji as you celebrate 55 years of independence.
For more than half a century, the United States and Fiji have worked together to ensure prosperity, peace, and security in the Indo-Pacific. The United States appreciates Fiji's regional leadership and commitment to our shared priorities, and we look forward to continuing our long friendship.
I wish you a prosperous and joyous Fiji Day.
