Denver Police Arrest Suspect from October 20th Homicide

Denver - October 21, 2026 - The Denver Police Department announces the arrest of a juvenile male, age 17, related to the fatal shooting that occurred in the 5800 Block of North Tower Road at approximately 5:00 p.m. on October 20, 2026.

Preliminary information indicates the juvenile and the adult male victim were involved in an argument that escalated to the shooting. The victim was transported to the hospital, where they were pronounced deceased.

Through their on scene investigation, officers identified the juvenile as a possible suspect and subsequently located and apprehended him in the 5800 Block of North Ceylon Street. Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident.

The final determination of charges will be made by the Denver District Attorney's office.
