Secretary-General of ASEAN meets with Minister of Post and Telecommunications of Cambodia
Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today met with H.E. Dr. Chea Vandeth, Minister of Post and Telecommunications of Cambodia, on the sidelines of his participation in Cambodia-ASEAN Business Summit 2026, in Phnom Penh. They exchanged views on the strategic step that Cambodia made in advancing digital economy, particularly through the active participation in the ASEAN Digital Economy Framework Agreement (DEFA) negotiations as well as in the ASEAN AI Safety Network (AI SAFE).
