MIAMI, FL - Today, Congressman Carlos A. Gimenez congratulated his dear friend María Corina Machado, leader of Venezuela's democratic opposition movement, on being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
"María Corina Machado is the world's bravest freedom fighter," said Congressman Carlos A. Gimenez. "She has stood up to the murderous narcoterrorist Cartel de los Soles, she has defeated Venezuela's dictator Nicolas Maduro at the ballot box and worked with leaders across the globe to restore freedom to her homeland. Maria Corina inspires us all and has dedicated her win to President Trump - the strongest ally the Venezuelan people have ever had."
