Employee Perks: Discounts, Dining, and Wellness

Western faculty and staff have access to several ongoing perks that make it easier and more affordable to shop, eat, and stay active on campus.

  • Bookstore: Western employees receive a 10% discount on all purchases by showing their Western ID at checkout. Don't miss the Bargain Book Sale on the main level: unadopted textbooks are available for just $5 (hardcovers) and $3 (paperbacks). Plus, WWU employees can purchase Regal movie tickets for $10 at the register.
  • Western Wednesday discount: WWU Employees get 20% off Western gear on Wednesdays if they are wearing something with Western on it.
  • Dining Services: Purchases made with Dining Dollars on your Western ID card are tax-free. Adding Dining Dollars is simple through Transact or the Transact mobile app.
  • Recreation Center: The Faculty and Staff Wellness Program is available to all employees, with classes, facilities, and programs designed to support your health and wellbeing. Learn more at campusrec.wwu.edu/wellness. $30 Quarterly membership for current WWU faculty and staff from Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. (6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. during summer session) and all hours on weekends.
