Epson’s Versatile SureColor S7170 Solvent Printer Now Available

LOS ALAMITOS, Calif. - Nov. 5, 2025 - Epson today announced the SureColor^® S7170 solvent printer is now available through Epson Authorized Professional Imaging Resellers. The 64-inch versatile solution offers the latest generation printhead for faster print speeds¹ and delivers renowned detail and color performance at an incredible value. Ideal for growing print shops, it reliably produces high-quality output to multiple substrates, allowing businesses to scale and expand product offerings to include indoor and outdoor signs, banners, stickers, vehicle wraps and more.

Built on the trusted platform of the previous generation, the SureColor S7170 utilizes a new, wider 1.33-inch PrecisionCore^® Micro TFP^® printhead paired with a precise media handling system to ensure faster print speeds.¹ Nozzle Verification Technology helps to ensure stable operation, and a temperature sensor placed closer to the nozzle plate improves color consistency. Utilizing UltraChrome^® GS3 4-color solvent inks and Epson Precision Dot technology, the SureColor S7170 delivers renowned detail and color performance on variety of media, including vinyl, banner, canvas, and paper. Ink is housed in a newly developed Ink Supply System, with high-volume 800mL ink packs,² to help reduce plastic waste, and prevent frequent ink replacement to support print shop productivity.

Ink usage will vary considerably based on images printed, print settings, paper type, frequency of use, temperature and humidity. Variance may be more pronounced when printing infrequently or predominantly with one ink color. Ink is used for printing and printer maintenance, and all colors must be available for printing. For print quality, a variable amount of ink remains after the "replace ink" indicator comes on.
