City of Tuscaloosa to Partner with 151st Army Band for Free Concert to Celebrate America's 250th Anniversary Next Week

Tuscaloosa, AL - The City of Tuscaloosa is partnering with the 151st Army Band to host a free community concert this Tuesday, June 30, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Government Plaza.

This patriotic event is open to the public and is part of the nationwide celebration of America's 250th anniversary, a milestone honoring our nation's history, resilience and shared ideals. Guests can expect an evening of inspiring music that celebrates the spirit of American independence.

Mayor Walt Maddox will host a table at the concert, providing an opportunity for community members to speak with him, ask questions, and share ideas for the City. Attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of local food trucks available throughout the evening.

In addition to Tuscaloosa, the band will perform in Dothan, Daphne, Mobile, Huntsville and Montgomery in the weeks leading up to the Fourth of July.
