CFP Board Forms Panel to Study Bachelor’s Degree Requirement

CFP Board announced that it has formed the Academic Pathways & Standards Working Group to study whether the bachelor's degree requirement for CFP® certification should be maintained, modified or eliminated. CFP Board CEO K. Dane Snowden said the review is intended to ensure competency standards remain credible and aligned with the needs of the profession and the families CFP® professionals serve.
