Donation to Vibrant Hawaiʻi will support cleanup and recovery efforts in communities hardest hit by the storm

MIAMI - August 24, 2026 - Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. (NYSE: NCLH) today announced a $50,000 donation to Vibrant Hawaiʻi to support cleanup and recovery efforts following the devastating impacts of Hurricane Lala on Hawaiʻi Island.

Hurricane Lala brought destructive winds and torrential rainfall to Hawaiʻi Island, causing severe flooding, widespread power outages and significant damage to homes and critical infrastructure, with the Kaʻū District among the hardest-hit areas. The contribution will support Vibrant Hawaiʻi, a Hilo-based nonprofit working alongside Hawaiʻi County and community partners to coordinate assistance, distribute essential supplies and connect impacted residents with recovery resources.

"Hawaiʻi is much more than a destination for us. It is a community we have been part of for decades, and seeing the devastation caused by Hurricane Lala is heartbreaking," said Dan Farkas, Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Development Officer of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. "Through our Sail & Sustain program and its Strengthening Our Communities pillar, we have a responsibility to stand alongside the places where we live, work and visit, especially in moments like this. Vibrant Hawaiʻi is doing critical work directly within the communities most affected, and we are proud to support their efforts as families begin the difficult work of cleaning up and rebuilding."

The donation is being made as part of NCLH's global Sail & Sustain® sustainability program, which includes Strengthening Our Communities among its five foundational pillars and reflects the Company's commitment to creating a positive impact in the destinations and communities it serves.

"Donations are being put directly to work in impacted communities-providing immediate cash assistance, food, water, ice, fuel, temporary connectivity, and other essential supplies while strengthening the community Points of Distribution helping families recover. With nearly 2,000 households reporting disaster-related needs, this support allows us to respond quickly to what families are telling us they need most. On behalf of our entire Hawaiʻi Island community, mahalo nui to Norwegian Cruise Line for standing with our families and communities during this time of recovery." Janice Ikeda, Chief Executive Officer, Vibrant Hawaiʻi

NCLH has a longstanding relationship with Hawaiʻi through its brands and operations and has previously supported disaster relief and community recovery efforts throughout the state.
