Wyoming Department of Transportation District 4 Awards Scholarships

Sheridan, Wyo. - The Wyoming Transportation Department Employees' Association (WTDEA) in northeast Wyoming recently awarded two $500 scholarships to college-bound dependents of WTDEA members.
This year's recipients were Aidan Priest and Tristin Kehrer of Sheridan.

Aidan is a 2026 graduate of Sheridan High School. She is enrolled at the University of Wyoming and is majoring in business with a focus on supply chain management and health leadership. Her goal is to learn how to design smarter, more efficient logistical networks that can keep businesses running smoothly even during tough times and apply those principles to the healthcare field, as she is eager to explore how data-driven supply chain strategies can eliminate waste in medical distribution, directly translating operational savings into better resources for frontline healthcare workers. Aidan is the daughter of Genevieve and Jim Priest. Gen is the district clerk for WYDOT District 4 in Sheridan.

Tristin is a 2026 graduate of Sheridan High School and is enrolled at Sheridan College as a business major. Tristan's ultimate career goal is to become a stockbroker. Fascinated by the mechanics of the market and the way strategic financial planning can change the trajectory of an individual's life or a company's future has captured his interest in this career field. Tristan is the son of Jeremy and Sage Kehrer. Jeremy is one of three members of WYDOT District 4's sign crew.

WTDEA is a WYDOT internal association whose mission is to "provide direct communication for all WYDOT employees, promote safe, efficient working environments, with positive changes for the future." Membership is open to all employees, and proceeds from memberships help support the scholarship program.
