Coyote Incident in Warwick Township

The Chester County Health Department has confirmed that a coyote has injured an individual on Warwick Furnace Road in Warwick Township on Sunday, December 28, 2025. The individual involved is seeking medical care.

It is NOT known if the coyote is rabid.

Residents are strongly advised to NOT attempt to catch or engage with a coyote. The PA Game Commission is involved with locating the coyote.

Any resident who may come into contact with a coyote should contact the Chester County Health Department at 610-344-6225 for further information and guidance.

Residents are advised to stay away from any wild animals and remain aware of their pets.
