World-renowned guitarist performs in Mission Viejo Jan. 24

Enjoy a vibrant evening of music when world-renowned acoustic guitarist Peppino D'Agostino takes the Mission Viejo stage on Saturday, January 24.

Part of the popular Lord of the Strings concert series, this performance begins at 7 pm in the City Hall Council Chamber at 200 Civic Center.

A native of Sicily, Peppino emerged on the acoustic guitar scene in the early 1980s and has continued to make a name for himself around the globe. Recognized as "the guitarist's guitarist" by Acoustic Guitar magazine, he has performed in 30 countries, participated in prestigious international festivals, and has played in some of the world's most important theaters.

Recently, Peppino played his first sold-out tour in China and composed a soundtrack for the famous Monterey Bay Aquarium. In addition to performing, D'Agostino makes time to teach. His repertoire is always changing, adapting to the rapport he establishes with his audience.
