BATON ROUGE, La. - The Disaster Recovery Center in Pointe Coupee Parish will permanently close Thursday, Aug. 20, at 5 p.m.
Louisianians in Avoyelles, Lafourche, Pointe Coupee, St. Landry, St. Tammany and Terrebonne parishes can still apply for FEMA disaster assistance through Oct. 1 to receive help in their recovery from Tropical Storm Arthur which occurred June 17-24.
For one-on-one help, residents of all six designated parishes may visit any Disaster Recovery Center below:
Pointe Coupee Parish Library/Innis Branch

Dates: Through Thursday
Hours: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
*Permanently closes Aug. 20
Terrebonne Parish Main Library
151 Library Dr.
Houma, LA 70360
Dates: Monday - Saturday Weekly
Hours: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
*One-day closure Aug. 24
