Wildfire Advisory Update: Monday, September 8, 2025, 13:00 pm

Mine Creek Wildfire (K61891)

The RDOS continues to monitor the Mine Creek Wildfire (K61891) located along the Coquihalla (Highway 5), south of Coldwater River Provincial Park.

At this time, there is no impact to residents, properties, or structures within the RDOS.

The Coquihalla Highway remains open.

Holding Creek Wildfire (K61924)

The RDOS continues to monitor the Holding Creek Wildfire (K61924) in the vicinity of Whipsaw Trail near Wells Lake and Blackeyes/Whatcom Trail in Electoral Area "H".

At this time, there is no impact to residents, properties, or structures within the RDOS.

If further action is required, notifications will be sent via Voyent Alert! Please continue to monitor official sources for information.

Other Fires

  • The Wolfe Lake Fire (K62014) located approximately 10km southeast of Princeton is now "Under Control".
  • The Willis Creek Fire (K62017) located approximately 16km west of Hedley is now "Being Held".
  • The Smith Creek Fire (K62018) located approximately 15km west of Hedley is "Out of Control". BC Wildfire Services crews are responding and there is no action required.
