Registration Open for Winter, Spring Sports

Registration for Greensboro Parks and Recreation's youth lacrosse clinics, Big 3 Challenger Cheerleading, adult men's and women's 3-on-3 basketball, youth baseball, and spring kickball are still open.

Youth Lacrosse Clinics
Wednesday, January 7 | 6:30-9 pm Greensboro Sportsplex, 2400 Sixteenth St.

Participants will learn the ins-and-outs of the sport of lacrosse. There will be three clinics offered; including Beginners Clinics (ages 5-13) and Experienced Co-Ed Clinics (ages 5-13) from 6:30-7:30 pm, and Competitive Co-Ed Clinics (ages 14-18) from 7:30-8:45 pm. Cost is $40 for each clinic series. No equipment required. Wear active shoes; no cleats. Registration required.

Adult 3v3 Basketball (Men's 45-and-Over, Women's 18-and-Over)
January 12 through February 20 | Greensboro Sportsplex, 2400 Sixteenth St.
Registration is open through January 5 for this 3-on-3 basketball league for men 45-and-over and women 18-and-over, with games taking place on Mondays and Wednesdays from January 12 through February 20. Cost is $75 per participant. Registration required.

Big 3 Challenger Cheerleading

January 17 through March 6 | 11:30 am to 12:30 pm | Locations vary (most practices will be held at Smith Active Adult Center, 2401 Fairview St.)

This program is designed for youth and adults with disabilities to build skills and knowledge of cheer routines throughout an eight week in-person league. Cost is $10 per participant. Registration required.

Spring 2026 Adult Coed Kickball
January 5 through February 27 | Times vary | Carolyn Allen Park, 3610 Drawbridge Pkwy.
The Adult Coed Kickball program is designed to provide men and women, ages 18 and older, the opportunity to participate in a fun, safe and enjoyable physical activity in order to socialize, compete, and develop positive relationships with other members of the Greensboro community. There will be two leagues offered, including: Beginner (Mondays), and Competitive (Tuesdays and Wednesdays). Cost is $400 per team. Registration required.

Spring 2026 Youth Baseball
March 30 through June 13 | 6-9 pm | West Market Street Baseball Stadium at Lindley Park, 3299 Starmount Dr.
This youth baseball league is broken into five divisions for youth ages 5-15. Cost is $55 for t-ball (5-6 year olds) and coaches pitch (7-8 year olds), and $75 for Single A (9-10 year olds), Double AA (11-12 year olds), and Triple AAA (13-15 year olds). Registration required.
