Lewis Rinaudo Cohen, partner and co-chair of CahillNXT, was featured on the "TRM Talks" podcast hosted by TRM Labs.
Lewis, along with host Ari Redbord, Global Head of Policy at TRM Labs, discussed Lewis's path from structured finance to blockchain and digital assets and the founding of CahillNXT as an integrated practice focused on frontier issues in technology and finance. The conversation then turned to why Lewis calls his practice "machine law" rather than AI law, how platforms and financial institutions should prepare for AI agents, and why decentralization is the basis of institutional tokenization. Lewis also discussed the legal and regulatory landscape for digital assets, including the CLARITY Act, the CFTC's approach to spot trading of crypto assets and the SEC's innovation exemption for automated market maker technology.
