Jonestown Bank & Trust Co. (JBT) recently announced that Melinda Aungst, Ruth Belleman, Gary Berry, and Scott Longenecker have been recognized with the designation of Community Banking Officer.
Aungst has been with JBT for three years and is JBT's Compliance Officer, Community Banking Officer. In addition, she serves as the Fair Banking Officer, the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Officer, and the Regulation O Officer for JBT.
A resident of Millerstown, PA, Aungst holds diplomas from the Central Atlantic School of Banking as well as the Pennsylvania Bankers Association's (PBA) Advanced School of Banking. She serves as Treasurer of Newport Industrial Development.
Belleman resides in Cleona, PA and serves as Community Banking Officer, Loan Operations Team Leader. She has been with JBT for 20 years and previously held the positions of Loan Operations Specialist II and Loan Operations Specialist I. Belleman began her JBT career as a Teller at JBT's Grantville branch before being promoted to Head Teller.
A graduate of Annville-Cleona, Belleman has an Associate Degree in Accounting. In addition to being a Co-Founder of Making a Difference of Lebanon, PA, she is a Youth Pastor and an Elder on the Board at River of Life Church in Lebanon, PA.
Berry has been with JBT for eight years and is Community Banking Officer, Facilities Manager at JBT.
A graduate of Cedar Crest High School, Berry resides in Lebanon, PA.
Longenecker serves as Community Banking Officer, Deposit Operations Team Leader at JBT and has been with JBT for over 14 years. Prior to his current role, he was a Deposit Operations Specialist, and also worked in the BSA/Security department for the bank, earning certification in Fraud Prevention from American Bankers Association (ABA).
A resident of Annville, PA, Longenecker graduated from Palmyra Area High School and Central Penn College.
