Southbound SR-125 Connector to I-8 Closed Evenings October 12 to 16

San Diego - Caltrans Maintenance crews will close the southbound State Route 125 (SR-125) connector to eastbound and westbound Interstate 8 (I-8) in the evenings of Sunday, October 12, to Thursday, October 1,6, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for broadband installation work.

Southbound SR-125 motorists headed westbound can take the off-ramp at Grossmont Boulevard, turn left onto Grossmont Blvd, turn left on Fuerte Drive, and then use the eastbound I-8 on-ramp.

Southbound SR-125 motorists headed eastbound can take the off-ramp at Grossmont Boulevard, turn left onto Grossmont Blvd, and then turn left onto the eastbound I-8 on-ramp.

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
