Approximately 81,000 meals packaged during 2026 Meals from the Heartland

During the 2026 Southwestern Community College (SWCC)/Union County Development Association (UCDA) Meals from the Heartland event, held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, in the SWCC Student Center gymnasium, approximately 81,000 meals were packaged to feed individuals locally and around the world. Thank you to everyone who participated!

The amount of food packaged that day alone will keep 311 kids fed for one year!

Thanks to ALL of the volunteers who packaged meals throughout the day. Thank you to the businesses sponsoring teams as well.
