Eastbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) Off-Ramp at Alma School Road Now Open, Additional Closures Scheduled for April

Gilbert, AZ. - The Arizona Department of Transportation has reopened the eastbound Loop 202 off-ramp at Alma School Road following a weeks-long closure for reconstruction as part of the Santan Freeway widening project between Loop 101 and Val Vista Drive.

Upcoming Loop 202 long-term ramp closures

• The westbound Loop 202 on-ramp at Cooper Road will be closed for approximately 60 days beginning 9 p.m. Friday, April 3.
• Detour: Drivers may consider using the westbound Loop 202 on-ramp at McQueen or Gilbert roads.

• The westbound Loop 202 off-ramp at McQueen Road will be closed for approximately 60 days beginning 9 p.m. Friday, April 17.
• Detour: Drivers may consider using the eastbound off-ramp at Cooper Road or Arizona Avenue.

Ongoing Loop 202 long-term ramp closures

• The westbound Loop 202 off-ramp at Arizona Avenue - anticipated to open mid-April
• The eastbound Loop 202 on-ramp at McQueen Road - anticipated to open early May
• The eastbound Loop 202 off-ramp at Cooper Road - anticipated to open mid-May
