PM-26-032: 2027 Appendix III - Standard Reinsurance Agreement and Livestock Price Reinsurance Agreement

BACKGROUND:

The 2027 Appendix III to the Standard Reinsurance Agreement and the Livestock Price Reinsurance Agreement (Appendix III) have been updated with approved modifications. Appendix III will be available today electronically via the Risk Management Agency (RMA) website at www.rma.usda.gov/Policy-and-Procedure/Appendix-III-M13-Handbook-Index under the Appendix III/M-13 directory.

ACTION:

Modifications in the 2027 Appendix III include the following crop insurance program changes:

• Updated the livestock record to incorporate the approved 2027 livestock changes
• Updated the Policy Holder Tracker System (PHTS) by removing outdated records and adding new records.
• Data Narrative Updates:
  • Updated year references throughout the document.
  • Minor editorial and formatting edits.
