NEW YORK - U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) spotlighted multiple housing innovations and resources from New York and New Jersey during the sixth annual Innovative Housing Showcase, held September 22-24 on the National Mall. This year's theme, "Made in America," highlighted American ingenuity and innovative approaches to expanding housing affordability and homeownership.

"HUD spotlighted several local companies at its Innovative Housing Showcase that are building new housing to expand homeownership opportunities for Americans," said Region II Administrator Jason Loughran. "These affordable options show how our region can help meet the housing needs in New York and New Jersey and across our nation."

HUD's "Made in America" Showcase spotlighted American builders, manufacturers, and innovators' modern technologies and creative housing solutions that are expanding housing supply, lowering construction costs, and putting affordable homeownership back in reach for hardworking Americans. The Showcase featured a variety of full-scale housing models including manufactured, 3D printed, and modular homes built by American companies from across the nation.
