Wheat futures slide for 10th day as corn and soybeans firm.

Wheat futures fell for a 10th consecutive session to approach eight-month lows, with December Chicago wheat settling down 17 cents at 593'2 and Kansas City Hard Red Winter wheat sliding to 637'2 despite geopolitical tensions in the Black Sea. Meanwhile, Soybean futures found technical buying after testing two-month lows, lifting the January contract seven cents to 1250'0 and November to 1237'6. Corn futures also rebounded as selling paused, with December gaining six cents to 454'6 and March rising to 468'0 despite money managers expanding short positions. Option open interest surged across the grain complex, led by heavy call volume in corn and wheat, while CVOL stood at 14.2% for soybeans, 17.8% for corn and 26% for wheat.
