From the Baltic herring to the olive groves of the Mediterranean, each region contributes unique products that carry centuries of heritage and care for the environment. The EU's Geographical Indication (GI) system, which protects iconic products such as Champagne, Parmigiano Reggiano, and Feta, ensures that local traditions are preserved while offering consumers worldwide a guarantee of quality and authenticity.

Organic farming is equally central to the EU's agricultural vision. With growing demand for health and safety - also in Korea - the value of clean and sustainable food is rising. The EU's strict organic standards restrict the use of chemicals, protect ecosystems, and ensure transparent certification. The Euro-Leaf logo, a green leaf made of white stars, now stands as a trusted symbol of clean and sustainable food. By 2030, the EU aims to expand organic farmland to 25%, setting a global benchmark for sustainable agriculture.

Countries like the Netherlands, which has become the world's second-largest agricultural exporter thanks to automated glass greenhouses, demonstrate how innovation can improve resilience and food security.
