Update: Portage Lake Lift Bridge inspections postponed
HOUGHTON, Mich. - Routine bridge inspections on the Portage Lake Lift Bridge between the cities of Houghton and Hancock planned for next week have been postponed.
A revised schedule for the inspections will be released at a later date. No lane closures or lift restrictions will be put in place until the inspections are rescheduled.
