Dr. LaChaundra Johnson recognized with two prestigious teaching awards
Dr. LaChaundra Johnson was recognized for excellence in teaching at the recent University at Buffalo Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology residency graduation. She was selected by current medical students and members of the 2026 graduating residency class.
"We are proud to congratulate Dr. Johnson on being recognized for her outstanding commitment to medical education," said J'Leise Sosa, MD, medical director of the OBGYN centers at Golisano Children's Hospital of Buffalo. "These awards recognize Dr. Johnson's dedication to mentoring the next generation of physicians through exceptional teaching, clinical excellence and compassionate leadership."
Dr. Johnson received two distinguished teaching honors:
- Medical Student Teaching Award, presented by University at Buffalo medical students
- Resident Teaching Award, selected by graduating Obstetrics and Gynecology residents
