WARNER BROS. TELEVISION GROUP RECEIVES 52 NOMINATIONS FOR THE 78th PRIMETIME EMMY® AWARDS

July 8, 2026 (BURBANK, Calif.) - Warner Bros. Television Group received 52 nominations for the 78^th Primetime Emmy® Awards, it was announced this morning by the Television Academy, including an Outstanding Drama Series nomination for The Pitt, and Comedy Series nods for Abbott Elementary and Shrinking, and a Lead Actor nomination for Steve Carell's role in Rooster.

• The Pitt (Warner Bros. Television for HBO Max) earned 26 nominations--the most of any show--including Outstanding Drama Series, acting nods for Noah Wyle, Katherine LaNasa, and Shawn Hatosy, writing nods for Kirsten Pierre-Geyfman, R. Scott Gemmill, and Valerie Chu, and directing for Noah Wyle.
• Shrinking (Warner Bros. Television for Apple TV+) received ten nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series, acting for Jason Segel, Harrison Ford, Michael Urie, Jessica Williams, Michael J. Fox, and Brett Goldstein.
• Abbott Elementary (Warner Bros. Television and 20^th Television for ABC) made the grade with seven nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series, writing and acting for Quinta Brunson, and acting for Janelle James and Tyler James Williams.
