A Statement by Sr. Mary Haddad, RSM, President and CEO

WASHINGTON, DC - Today, Catholic Health Association of the United States (CHA) President and CEO Sr. Mary Haddad, RSM, issued the following statement on the expiring health tax credits.

"Congress's failure to act in a bipartisan manner to extend health care tax credits is already putting coverage out of reach for millions of working families. As premiums rise, many will have no choice but to drop their insurance. This will increase the number of uninsured, raise costs for patients and providers, and further strain the entire health care system - creating avoidable financial instability for families and communities across the country. Congress must immediately find a solution to ensure affordable coverage remains within reach."
