Columbia Police arrest juvenile suspect for assault on City Hill Court

Columbia Police have arrested a juvenile male suspect in connection with an assault on a walking trail that occurred at about 6:40 p.m. Aug. 17 near City Hill Court.

The adult female victim suffered minor injuries. An investigation by police revealed that the victim and the suspect did not know each other.

With help from the community, police officers identified and arrested the suspect Aug. 18 on a charge of fourth-degree assault.
