Westbound SR-52 Connector to Southbound I-5 Closed August 8

SAN DIEGO - Caltrans will close the westbound State Route 52 (SR-52) connector to southbound Interstate 5 (I-5) on Sunday, August 8, from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m. for pavement work. Motorists will be detoured to northbound I-5, take the off-ramp at Gilman Drive, turn left on Gilman Drive, and then use the on-ramp for southbound I-5.

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
