Portion of Jerry Jones Drive closing to through traffic
What: Jerry Jones Drive between Gornto and Baytree Roads is scheduled to close to through traffic later this month as construction continues on a widening project to make room for a turn lane. This means that access to Jerry Jones Road should be restricted to residential traffic. All other motorists are asked to utilize Gornto and Baytree Roads to reduce traffic flow on Jerry Jones Drive. Detour signs will be posted. The detour is needed for new sewer system installation.

The widening project will create a two-way left turn lane on Jerry Jones Drive, which becomes Eager Road at County Club Drive. The turn lane will be located from West McRee Drive to Jadan Place. The current scheduled completion date is fall of 2028.

Where: Jerry Jones Drive between Baytree and Gornto Roads will be closed to through traffic. Residential access will be allowed, but all other traffic should use Baytree and Gornto Roads.

When: The detour is scheduled to begin April 22, subject to change.
