Commissioning of new Flour Production Facility of Iroda Invest LLC in Bobojon Ghafurov district

On September 20, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, officially launched the operations of a new flour production facility belonging to Iroda Invest Limited Liability Company in Bobojon Ghafurov district.
His Excellency Emomali Rahmon was informed that the new facility is equipped with modern machinery and has the capacity to process up to 600 tons of wheat per day. The enterprise includes advanced wheat-processing equipment, a raw material storage warehouse with a capacity of 28,000 tons, and a warehouse for storing finished products.

It was emphasized that the flour produced here is primarily made from Hi-Pro and Durum wheat varieties and is used in the preparation of pizza dough, certain types of bread, sambusa, and other products that require dough with high strength and quality. Establishing such production facilities will help better meet domestic market demand for high-quality locally produced goods.

With the commissioning of the facility, 50 local residents have been provided with permanent employment. This initiative will contribute not only to the development of production but also to improving living standards and creating new jobs for the population.

The enterprise also has a new mechanical workshop, which was established to meet its own operational needs. The workshop is designed for the repair, maintenance, and technical servicing of production equipment. It carries out tasks such as manufacturing spare parts, welding, assembly, and related work.

The commissioning of the mechanical workshop will improve the quality of technical services, shorten equipment repair times, reduce production costs, and increase the efficiency of the enterprise's operations.

The modern technologies installed at the enterprise were imported from Switzerland and consume 20 percent less electricity than the previous equipment.

During the continuation of the visit, the Head of State toured an exhibition of products manufactured by the industrial enterprises of Iroda Invest LLC.

The exhibition featured a variety of domestically produced goods manufactured at the company's enterprises. These included different types of flour, flour-based products, vegetable oil, and other products.

During the visit, the Leader of the Nation familiarized himself with the types and quality of the products being manufactured and highly praised the initiatives of entrepreneurs and producers in processing domestic raw materials, manufacturing import-substituting products, and creating new jobs.

It was emphasized that the development of domestic production, the processing of raw materials, the creation of new jobs, the manufacture of competitive products, and increasing export volumes are among the important priorities of the state's economic policy.

In this regard, the President provided entrepreneurs with valuable recommendations on fully utilizing production capacities, improving product quality in line with international standards, increasing production volumes, attracting highly qualified specialists, and making a greater contribution to the implementation of the strategic goals of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
