HCSO publishes October motor fuel price statistics
Based on data in the Weekly Oil Bulletin, published by the EU, the average price of 95-octane petrol was 641 forints and that of diesel motor fuel 711 forints in Hungary in the month of October. The price of petrol was 19 forints or 2.9% and that of diesel oil 24 forints or 3.3% lower on average in Hungary compared to the prices in neighbouring countries. In countries in the region, the average October price for petrol was 643 forints, the price in Hungary becoming 0.3% or 2 forints lower. The regional average price for diesel equalled 718 forints, the average price in Hungary being 1.0% or 7 forints lower.
