Collegium of Ministry of Foreign Affairs convenes to review results of diplomatic activity in 2025

On March 11, 2026 a meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus "On the results of the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus in 2025" was held.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister of Belarus Aleksandr Turchin, while Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov delivered the keynote report.

During the session, the Ambassador to Uzbekistan Alexander Ogorodnikov and the Ambassador to India Mikhail Kasko reported on the results of efforts to intensify trade and economic cooperation within their respective countries of accreditation, with the Ambassador to Russia Yuri Seliverstov also in attendance.

The final meeting brought together a wide range of officials, including the leadership of the National Statistical Committee, sectoral national government bodies, state concerns, and the international affairs commissions of both chambers of the National Assembly. Also present were representatives from the National Agency for Tourism, regional executive committees, the Minsk City Executive Committee, various enterprises, the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus, and the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus.

A constructive discussion took place regarding the outcomes of foreign economic activity across various sectors, countries, and regions over the past year, alongside a review of promising directions for trade and economic cooperation with international partners in 2026.

In conclusion, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus provided an official assessment of the performance on the foreign economic front.
