The Office of Marketing and Communication has received three honors from the Collegiate Advertising Awards, a national competition that recognizes excellence in all forms of advertising, marketing and promotion in higher education.
Marquette received a gold award for the Parents Calendar, as well as silver awards for the redesigned Residence Life website and the Marquette Business brand campaign.
Marquette has earned nine Collegiate Advertising Awards in the past three years.
The Marquette Parents Calendar is a key resource for new Marquette parents, taking them through the school year - starting with SPARK dates in June and running through May - with important dates, tips, resources and more. Featuring stunning campus visuals provided by university photography, the piece is both a beautiful and useful addition to the family home. This project brought together campus partners from Office of Student Development and Undergraduate Admissions.
Updating the Residence Life website brought convenience, useful information and a refreshed design to a key campus stakeholder. Supporting students living on and off-campus makes Residence Life an integral part of the Marquette experience. The OMC digital team and ORL staff collaborated on a refreshed website design, making valuable resources just a click away and giving Marquette students and families everything they need for living at Marquette in one place.
The Marquette Business brand campaign was designed to elevate the College of Business Administration and the Graduate School of Management with branded placements at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport. The placements caught travelers to and from the city, in terminals, baggage claims and public spaces. The campaign featured five distinct tag lines that emphasize the college's commitment to the personal value of a Marquette Business education and the impact that graduates can have when they leave.
The Collegiate Advertising Awards program is an elite national program created to honor today's most talented marketing professionals for outstanding excellence in all forms of advertising, marketing and promotion specific to higher education products and services. The Collegiate Advertising Awards allows marketing and advertising efforts to be recognized and compete against similarly sized colleges, universities and other educational organizations from across the nation.
