The JSE is managing a cybersecurity incident that we recently identified and contained. Following our investigation and cooperation with the authorities, we have confirmed that some personal information was affected and that some data was accessed without authorisation.
Based on our investigation to date, we have not identified evidence that the incident affected our trading or settlement platforms, customer login credentials or our core transactional systems.
We have reported the matter to the relevant authorities and are contacting affected individuals directly with specific guidance. If you have questions, contact our Data Protection Officer at [email protected] or 876-218-1815.
For your security, we will never ask you for your password, PIN or one-time codes by email or telephone. Treat any such request as fraudulent.
