Payment Systems to be Temporarily Unavailable

For Immediate Release: Thursday, September 27th, 2025

Kansas City's payment system will be temporarily unavailable Sunday, September 28, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This outage will affect most online payment options and in-person cashiering systems. Residents will not be able to make payments for the following services:

  • Water bills

  • Court fines and fees

  • Permits

  • Quick Tax

  • Parks & Recreation online and community center payments

  • Health Department online payments

  • Fire/Ambulance payments

  • Convention Center invoice and user fees

  • City real estate

  • Mohart Center

Parks and Recreation facilities open over the weekend will only be able to accept cash or checks.

Parking garages and the Convention Center's box office will not be affected.
