Future of Public Law Discussed in St. Petersburg

The Interuniversity Scientific and Practical seminar "Public Law: Principles, Norms, Legal Relations - 2025" was held at the Faculty of Law of the North-West Institute of Management of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.

The participants of the event discussed topical issues of public law, the interaction of individuals and public authorities, state building and local self-government, constitutional and legal, administrative and legal, financial and legal regulation.

The lectures were delivered by the faculty membersof the Presidential Academy, other universities of St. Petersburg, employees of state and local government bodies, the law community and practicing lawyers.

The seminar also discussed the specifics and prospects of intersectoral cooperation, the role of the prosecutor's office in the system of public authority, the state and trends in the development of military administrative law, migration policy and state sovereignty, and the basics of food security.

Head of the Legal Expertise Department of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat Sergey Marchenko took part in the seminar on behalf of the Secretariat of the Council of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly.
