EU Marks Completion of €50M Health Project, Begins New Phase in Jordan

Over the past years, this programme has strengthened primary health care, expanded equitable immunisation, enhanced disease surveillance, and supported more resilient health system governance across Jordan.

Building on these achievements, a new €15 million EU-funded initiative is already underway to further improve the efficiency, equity, and responsiveness of primary health care services. This includes policy support, piloting comprehensive care models, and rehabilitating around 35 health centres, in partnership with the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Health.
