CHICAGO, IL, September 24, 2026 - Gresham Partners LLC is pleased to share that Kim Kamin, Partner and Chief Wealth Strategist, has received the 2026 Austin Fleming Distinguished Service Award from the Chicago Estate Planning Council ("CEPC").

CEPC leadership presented Kamin with the prestigious award in Chicago, Illinois, on Thursday, September 24, 2026, during a special awards luncheon. She followed with a keynote presentation, The Wisdom of Gumby Trusts: Drafting for Flexibility, Optionality, and Change.

The Austin Fleming Distinguished Service Award recognizes an individual in the community who is highly regarded for their expertise in the field of estate planning, and who has made a significant contribution to the improvement of industry practices.

As Gresham's Chief Wealth Strategist, Kamin leads the development and implementation of activities related to wealth transfer planning, fiduciary planning, estate and trust administration, philanthropy, family education, and RisingGen engagement.

Kamin served on the Board of the CEPC for eleven years, and was its President in 2020-2021. She is also an adjunct professor at the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where she was awarded the William M. Trumbull Lectureship, and is on faculty as a lecturer in executive education for the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Kamin is a Fellow and Past Regent of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). She also serves on the Advisory Board, Leaders Council, and as Estate Planning and Legal Issues Domain Chair for the UHNW Institute. She is on the Editorial Advisory Boards of Trusts & Estates Magazine and Investments & Wealth Review, on advisory boards for multiple local philanthropic organizations, and is a member of The Economic Club of Chicago.

A prolific national speaker and prominent writer, Kamin is the co-executive editor and co-author of the Leimberg Library Tools & Techniques book, Estate Planning for Modern Families (4th Ed. 2024), and she has been a contributing author for chapters in books, including Wealth of Wisdom: Top Practices for Wealthy Families and Their Advisors (2022). She received her B.A. from Stanford University, with distinction and departmental honors in Psychology, and her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
